NOTHING. I sent in my app and was accepted before I finished sending my transcripts. I didn't get my acceptance letter until a month after they emailed me to say I was accepted. If you have a pulse, you're in.

Although its a good school, just about anyone could get in so expect all kinds of people to be in your class when you come in for your freshman year; but they get weeded out. You could start off with 25 freshman, (I guarantee half of them will be lazy, ghetto, and not take it seriously.) and by the end of the month you'll have like 10-15 students left. By sophomore year+ you most likely wont deal with the immaturity anymore. Everyone will be serious and focused by then.

I went to DCC for two semesters then transferred to Mercy. They make it easier for students to come to this school.

What I recommend is that students who'd like to attend Mercy, know what you want to do with your life first.
